Signing up for Champfy takes a minute. Finishing setup sometimes takes longer, especially when a confirmation email lands in spam or you create your account on your phone and forget to come back.
We now send gentle email reminders when something is still pending, so you can get to the part you actually signed up for: finding people to play with.
Why we added this
You joined Champfy to play more tennis, pickleball, or padel, not to wrestle with account setup. But if your email is not confirmed or your profile is incomplete, other players cannot discover you and you miss out on matches.
These reminders are meant to help, not nag:
- One reminder if your email is still unconfirmed after signup
- One reminder if your profile setup is still unfinished a couple of days later
Already confirmed and onboarded? You will not get these messages.
What you might receive
Email confirmation reminder
Signed up with email but have not confirmed yet? We send a reminder with a fresh link. Confirmation links can expire, and inbox filters are unpredictable. This gives you an easy way to confirm your account and move on.
If you signed up with Google or another provider, you typically will not need this step.
Finish your profile reminder
Once your email is confirmed, we may nudge you to complete onboarding if you have not finished yet. A complete profile makes a real difference: sport, skill level, availability, and location help the right partners find you when they search on Find Players.

You control the emails
Reminders only go out when notifications are enabled on your account. You can turn them off anytime in your notification settings.
Want fewer emails in general? Update your preferences there. Your account will still work; you just will not receive these nudges.
Common questions
I did not get a confirmation email from Champfy. What should I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still cannot find it, wait for the reminder email with a fresh link, or visit confirmation email to request a new one.
Will Champfy spam me with reminders?
No. These are one-time nudges for specific situations: unconfirmed email, or unfinished onboarding after a couple of days. They are not a daily drip.
How do I stop account reminder emails?
Open notification settings and disable the emails you do not want. You stay in control.
Do reminders mean something is wrong with my account?
Not necessarily. They usually mean you started signup and have not finished a step yet. Confirming your email and completing onboarding unlocks the full experience, including finding players near you.
I finished onboarding but still got a reminder. What now?
If you believe your account is fully set up, check that your email is confirmed and your profile has a sport, level, and location filled in. You can review everything under settings.
